Today we’re circling around this sweet but sassy girl in prayer!

Hannah was originally a part of a set of triplet girls brought to the mission because they were very sickly and malnourished at birth. Unfortunately, one of the three sisters did not survive. But praise be to God, Hannah and her sister Haylee survived and they were able to receive the medical care and love they needed and now today they are thriving! Both these girls are tough and have equally strong personalities.

Psalm 46:1
"God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble."

Hannah is a bold and beautiful child who is also a great help to the mommas at the orphanage as one of the older girls and she is willing to help serve when they need her. She is growing up and maturing a lot by taking on some responsibility and helping look after her younger siblings.

In typically older sister fashion, she can be a little bossy at times but it is a joy to see her lead her younger siblings by example and help serve and love them. She is quite protective of the little ones and they look up to her as she is one of the oldest.

She also loves playing and hanging out with the older kids at the orphanage and you will often see her and her sisters out playing jump rope or hop-scotch or just dancing and singing around campus! But she also loves running around outside and playing games with her brothers. And this girl enjoys having fun doing her favorite activities of coloring or more girly things like painting nails!

Today I want to circle this bold and beautiful girl. Hannah is so photogenic mostly because she always is ready to flash her big beautiful smile! Though this girl has a bold personality she also has a quiet, gentle strength about her. She is strong and she is beautiful and she is a daughter of the One True King. I want to pray that Hannah will continue to mature in her faith as she grows and that she will trust in God as her strength in times of trouble. I pray that she will remember all that God has brought her through with thankfulness and trust. I pray that she will continue to protect and love her siblings with the love of Christ and that she will serve them selflessly. I pray that she will realize that her strength and her beauty comes from God alone as He shines through her life, that she would keep her heart connected to her Lord as His grace flows through her. I want to circle this passage for her today:

1 Peter 3:3-4
"Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight."
