This girl marches to the beat of her own drum, she owns her personality! She is spunky and funny and she’s not afraid to always be herself! (What other little girl would choose to hold the beard for the photoshoot over crowns or glasses?!) I am inspired by her confidence and the way she lives life boldly!

Magdalie is literally a bundle of fun and energy! She has the sweetest smile and she loves to laugh or make others laugh. She has the most hilarious and random silly faces! And she will pull them out at the most random times, but she knows when others need some laughter and she’s always ready to make them laugh.

This girl also has such a sweet heart for helping others. She watches out for her younger siblings, by including them in her dances, games, or musical numbers! Magdalie has a passion for music and dance! She also helps teach her younger sisters things like how to braid their dolls’ hair and she has a heart for serving others behind the scenes. She enjoys playing with her siblings – dancing with her sisters or catching bugs with her brothers! She has such love for her family!

Again, Magdalie has a personality and spirit that is all her own! It’s something you can only fully experience by meeting her yourself and seeing her spunky/bold personality!

Today I want to pray that Magdalie will continue to live life unafraid, that she will live for God and not just to please others. I pray that she keeps her courage and will stand up for what’s right even if it means going against the ways of the world. I pray that God will continue to grow her faith and increase her love and compassion for others. I pray that He will smooth out any rough edges in her life, any selfishness or pride that remains, and mold her into a woman of character, one of grace and strength. I pray she continues to value internal qualities, those characteristics of the heart, over the external as her relationship with God is strengthened. I pray that she will trust and follow God and that as she grows older she will grow in dignity and confidence, always remaining humble though as she realizes every blessing is from God. I want to pray Proverbs 31 over this sweet girl, praying for the woman she will one day become. In particular, I want to circle verses 25-26 and verse 30 for her.

I love this little girl so much and it’s crazy to look back at how much she has influenced my life. Although I started sponsoring her about two years ago, I only met her for the first time in the summer of 2013. Through the limited time I’ve spent with her I’ve grown to love her craziness and boldness and she never ceases to make me laugh! God has used her in my life to teach me about His love and grace.
